Recent advances in computer and wireless communication technologies have led to an increasing interest in ad hoc networks that are temporarily constructed by only mobile nodes playing the role of a router. In ad hoc networks, since nodes move freely and this causes frequent changes in the network topology, most of the previous researches focus on the development of dynamic routing protocols that can efficiently find routes between two communicating nodes. Recently, however, researches focusing on data access has also been emerging.
In this paper, we focus that position information is available by equipping each mobile node with a small, inexpensive, and low power GPS receiver. Then, we propose new caching method with efficient bandwidth availability and power consumption using cache nodes position information, in especially circumstances that many requests for content concentrate on source node.
