Wireless communication system using multiple radio frequency bands

Recently, wireless ad-hoc network has drawn much attention.Wireless ad-hoc network is an autonomous distributed network; each wireless device is able to do multi-hop communication independently without the need of infrastructure. There are many researches address the high transmission rate issue in wireless multi-hop communication. However, the majority of the high transmission rate studies only take account of single frequency bands without considering the multiple frequency bands issue.
We propose a scheme by considering each frequency band usage and unique characteristic. We consider the communication method that focuses on different characteristics and usage frequency by band, taking into account the usage of frequency band. This proposed protocol is a communication method that considers congestion and delay time for efficient use of multiple frequency bands. First, determine the delay time to the destination for each frequency band, to communicate to favor small frequency band of the delay time. Performance evaluation by simulation shows that the proposed method can gain better end to end throughput up to single frequency bands.
