Transportation Guide
Because Osaka University IST is in the green forest, you can take many routes to it. Generally, we use three routes below. If you want to take a taxi, tell the driver to go Suita Campus.
1.Walk from Kitasenri Station(Hankyu Senri Line)
It takes 20 minutes from Kitasenri Station to Osaka University. To go Kitasenri Station, you can get the train in Umeda. If you use Hankyu Kyoto Line, you have to transfer at Awaji Station. If you use Subway Sakaisuji Line, you have to transfer at Juso Station.
2.Take a bus from Senri Chuo Station(Subway Midosuji Line, Osaka Monorail)
At Senri Chuo Station(The end of Subway Midosuji Line), you can get the bus to Handai Honbu Mae or to Ibaraki Mihogaoka. You have to get down at Handai Honbu Mae(It takes about 20 minutes), and you can reach Osaka University in 5 minutes walk.
※It's accessible way from Shin-Osaka or Osaka International Airport.
3.Take a Kintetsu bus from Ibarakishi Station(Hankyu Kyoto Line) or Ibaraki Station(JR Kyoto Line)
Get Kintetsu bus at Ibarakishi Station(hankyu Kyoto Line) or at Ibaraki Station(JR Kyoto Line), and get down at Handai Honbu Mae, you can reach Osaka University in 5 minutes walk.
